Postgame: Nitehawks - 7 Braves - 4

Apologies for not getting this out sooner. For the 2nd night in a row, our Nitehawks were victorious and put another 2 points between us and Nelson.

This time, we were dramatically outplayed, outshot, and outscored in the first period. Spokane scored twice on 17 shots to lead 2-0 after 20. It must have been one helluva locker room speech because the leagues most potent power play brutalized the Braves in the second period with 3 ppg's and another at even strength. BV outshot Spokane 28-6 in that period and never looked back leading 4-2 after 40. Period 3 was a more even battle with BV adding 3 more goals(1 on the pp), and Spokane netting 2 of their own. Shots were close at 17-12 BV for a game total 53-35 in favor of the Hawks.

Craig Marten and Dallas Calvin each potted 2 goals as  Ryan Edwards, Mason Spear, and Derek Lashuk added singles while 8 others notched up points as well. BV's power play went 4 for 7 on the night for 57.1% which is testament why NOT to take penalties against this team.

Game Stars:

BV - Dallas Calvin (2G)
BV - Craig Martin (2G)
BV - Chris Derochie (2A)

Next game for BV is on Friday, Nov. 4 at the Johnny Bucyk Arena to take on the Creston Valley Thunder Cats and then off to Castlegar the following night Nov. 5 before a short rest and then back home on Nov. 10 to host Grand Forks.
