Its the rubber match between the BV Nitehawks and the Nelson Leafs. BV took the first game 5-4 with a 5 goal comeback while Nelson took the second game 5-3 without much difficulty. Both games were in the NDCC Arena in Nelson, but now we switch to our home turf where we are 6-1 this season!!
Nelson is trying to come off a disappointing loss to Creston last night while BV is riding high after a dominant victory over Grand Forks.
Like expected, the line of Edwards-Martin-Derochie caught fire 2 nights ago and rattled off a combined 11 points. But it wasnt just them, 10 others got on the board as well so it doesnt matter which line is out there, they will be dangerous.
So far, no discipline has come from the mid 3rd period issues last game in GF, but that still remains to be seen.
